EKG concepts are extremely important regardless of an individual’s specialty. I felt the book is an excellent resource for both the student as well as experienced healthcare professional, specifically in my case, as a registered nurse and working in a heart hospital, the book provided me with (much like the books title) : a simplified approach for reviewing and building my knowledge base. The book itself is color coded for easy guidance of concepts, has a quiz questions for the review of chapters, and illustrations which provide a better understanding for the reader to visualize each concept reviewed. I would definitely recommend this book to healthcare professionals (Paramedics, Medical Doctors, Registered Nurses, etc.) as well as any individual with the intention of building their knowledge on the heart and EKG.
it is very useful for the beginners to understand the functions of the heart and CVS in general.
