Having taken the DGM part 1 today, I am in a good position to comment on this book; despite only completing about half the questions.

I had thought when using it, that many of the questions were too hard to be included in a test taken mainly by GPs. However, I was wrong! I wish I had completed the whole book now. It introduced me to a few hospital related crises and management issues that I wouldn’t have thought of studying. Maybe if I had bought a book on geriatrics I would have recognised those subjects, but none of the texts on offer looked appealing.
