It’s a great book, especially for medical students on a Heme-Onc rotation. First off, I appreciate the colored pictures. Second, I like how it explains the pathogenesis and epidemiology of the diseases. Definitely helpful for boards too! The only negative I have is that the treatment options for some of the hematology disorders are out-dated, which isn’t surprising considering the book is about 5 years old.

Great resource for Hematology for the non-Hematologist. Organized very clearly, written concisely. Information may be more in-depth than what one needs for general practice, however it is still very usable for everyday reference.
