Very informative book for someone wanting information on a procedure that has been recommended for you. The ability to ask intelligent questions to a doctor and make sure he knows his stuff helped put me at ease. I found this book to be excellent in describing risks and benefits and how certain things are done. Actually pretty readable for someone who knows little about medicine
