Although I still feel that the organization of the chapters was an afterthought, I do have to emphasize that the quality of the material included is outstanding. Obviously there is variability among the chapters (I almost read all by now) but overall it reads very nicely and it is filled with pearls of knowledge. The thing that made me come back and write a new review is the included questions CD. Some of the chapters have outstanding questions and their answers are really wonderful (the one on trauma for example is simply phenomenal). Obviously, for some chapters the answers have no explanations at all but that, again, is a reflection of the editorial process that should have enforced a more uniform and homogenous style. In Summary, I am very content with this book and its questions and I would buy a new edition, should they decide to come up with one, without hesitation.

it’s a wonderful book, all the chapters are descriptive and plain beautiful… the one about echocardiography has very good pictures,and i especially liked tho one about preoperative evaluation. excellent price, also!!!
