Who is reviewing this book???? I am a medical student and this is an excellent resource to have on hand. It is thorough and well written, with excellent connections and explanations. I almost didn’t buy this book because of poor ratings on the web.
Constanzo is great and all and I purchased that book too, but I prefer that more for reviews and summaries.

Rhoades was required required for my physiology course though I did not like it. The authors provided extraneous information that was not necessary for understanding my field, and I preferred using Linda Costanzo’s Physiology text instead. If I needed further information I would at times use Guyton’s or other similar detailed physiology books. Rhoades ranked dead last
