It is so beautifully designed. The content is so well written, covering head to toe, but never boring. The language is clear. It is practical hands-on stuff, like chatting with a senior doctor. I read it in little doses almost daily. I carry it in my lab coat pocket often. The paper and colors are of the best quality. I gain so much insight and develop more passion towards bedside medicine when I read books like this. Our British colleagues once again did a great job. It is not supposed to be a extensive reference book, but is intended to be that helping voice at bedside or in call room. Every resident should read it, and hopefully they will be more confident in their skills and therefore less CT scans or echo would be ordered. It is a blessing to have this book, if you want to do high touch medicine.
