I’d really like to purchase this excellent clinically-oriented text, but at this time I will not, simply because it’s going on seven years old. The rapid advance of modern medicine demands revised editions significantly more often than that. It’s just too long in the tooth for 2019. I’m forced to wait and remain hopeful that the 3rd Ed. arrives soon.

A book that a fellow should read until the third year of training. It can be used as reference textbook, and it is easily read and with many and informative figures and tables. The MCQ that follow the book are of great clinical interest. I absolutely recommend it.
