The Cleveland Clinic Cardiology Board Review, 2nd Edition continues to offer thorough preparation for board certification and recertification exams in cardiology. It is written by distinguished clinicians from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and based on the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s popular annual Intensive Review of Cardiology course.
The book provides a comprehensive, state-of-the-art review of every area of contemporary cardiovascular medicine. Emphasis is on board relevant clinical material and accurate real-world clinical decision making. More than 500 illustrations and numerous tables facilitate quick review. Board-format questions with answers and explanations appear at the end of each chapter. This is the tablet version of The Cleveland Clinic Cardiology Board Review which does not include access to the supplemental online content mentioned in the text.

I am soon to be starting fellowship and looking for a solid yet board-directed resource that I can use throughout my 3 year training as well as before boards. I think I made the right choice. This book is well written with a wealth of information and graphics that are easy to read. It is also big, but not as monstrous to lug around as the Mayo review from what I am told. I do wish there was an easily accessible ebook included. The LWW website is not compatible with viewing on Ipad or mobile devices. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
It’s more than questions. It’s actually a cardiology review book first with some questions after each section. Should be used as a replacement for the Mayo Clinic board review textbook. It’s nicer colors, print, and diagrams than the Mayo book.
