A well written concise reference book for infectious diseases. Similar format as the Harrison textbook for internal medicine. Keep in mind textbooks are good for general reference and review of principles of care but treatments change so quickly now that textbooks are often outdated at the time of publication.
this is a very good book with many different infections covered,,,,,i thought there was too much biochemistry, however, if you enjoy such, this is the book for you….well-written and very comprehensive…….ken Humphrey, md, abem, abfp
