A useful tool for educating beginner coders, this text merges coding guidelines with descriptions of disease process and procedures. This is also my go-to resource when re-educating experienced coders who may be unsure about a particular specialty or current rules. An easy to read text, there are clinical examples, PowerPoint slides corresponding to each chapter, practice cases and chapter quizzes. There is not a better comprehensive coding resource.
