User’s Reviews

“GPs I am sure will be impressed with the excellence of this book, as put simply; it is superb. The book coverages a huge chunk of general practice and does it covering the facts and the important elements with no added extras. It is full of wisdom, great advice and without doubt offer high
standards of practice[.]” — Dr Harry Brown, Glycosmedia

“The book has been successful in condensing the entire breadth and depth of general practice in less than 30 chapters. A real success. […] As someone who has completed both their phase 3a and phase 3b GP rotations, I would highly recommend this book. It not only saves you time scanning through
websites it also provides up to date NICE guidelines all in one small book.” — North Wing Magazine

Reviews from Amazon users, collected at the time the book is getting published on UniedVRG. It can be related to shiping or paper quality instead of the book content:

⭐ I love the oxford handbooks as a quick reference tool. However I found
this edition was not much different to the previous edition in content, and
so I returned it. Unfortunately it was published just before covid struck,
but for future editions would be helpful to have a topic on coronavirus and
its effects.

⭐ Buy it if you need it but you can get it for free on BMA E library if
you’re a member. Also lots of other organisations which will loan it or
allow you to read it online

⭐ Great reference book, use it every single day while on my GP placement,
the oxford concise and easy to digest style is a big advantage as there’s
limited time of consultation in the general practice setting.Overall very
happy and do recommend it to other junior doctors!

⭐ Great book

⭐ Always like Oxford handbooks. This is perfect for my GP training.

⭐ Kindle edition just doesn’t work. Multiple downloads and the app crashed
so many times. Bought the hard copy in the end . Good book. Just stay away
from kindle version . Ohcm is just so well done on kindle but this ohcgp is
a bit trash.

⭐ Arrived within good timeUseful book, straight to the point for GP useGood
links to help patients

⭐ Needed this for work, concise but comprehensive and not over priced

⭐ Very good

⭐ Good
