⭐ Outstanding and pithy, Pocket Nephrology succinctly summarizes key topics
for the busy practicing nephrologist. It’s an invaluable office reference
as well as a handy pocket guide. Backed by the accumulated knowledge of
Columbia, Pocket Nephrology is just as thoughtful and cogent for
electrolyte and acid-base disorders awareness it is for complex
glomerulonephritides. Just last month I had a patient in clinic who
presented with dark urine and was found to have glomerular hematuria and
proteinuria in the context of a Strep negative pharyngitis. With Pocket
Nephrology I had information on synpharyngitic IgA nephropathy at my
fingertips. Biopsy confirmed the diagnosis and the patient was managed with
a course of antibiotics alone, making a full recovery. Thank you,
