⭐ Much to recommend this celebrated text now in its 4th edition. I would
have liked to see topics such as modern slavery, FGM, and an accompanying
website as there are very few pictures. That is the inevitable trade off
when covering both SOM and custody in a text. Strangulation injuries and
some information on torture injuries are included. I would have given this
4 stars but the book is let down by the index. For example there is a
section on pregnancy/EHC but this isn’t referenced in the index.
