⭐ I can’t say enough good things about this book. I was struggling to
understand my assigned A & P book and I got this book as a supplement. What
a difference! The content is comprehensive, as it should be, but I can
understand it. The writing is clear and to the point, and colorful charts
and figures take it a step further by illustrating key processes….a real
bonus for visual learners (like me). As an example, I spent hours trying to
understand the sliding filament model of contraction in my assigned book,
and it just never “clicked.” Then this book came and I immediately flipped
to that section. Boom! In about ten minutes, I had it! The explanation
wasn’t dumbed down—it was just clear, made sense, and the illustrations
made it all come together. Now I’m actually excited to study A & P.

⭐ The material is very dry. It’s fact after fact after fact.

⭐ This book does a good job sticking to the important content. However, the
online resources and even the optional workbook provide very little study
material. Most only cover a fraction of the chapters. Pardon my language,
but everything other than the text and illustrations seem half-assed. This
is a use once then toss book. If you’re planning on keeping it for
reference, buy some flash cards and a nice medical dictionary instead.
