The late Frederick J Gravetter was Professor Emeritus of Psychology at The College at Brockport, State University of New York. While teaching at Brockport, Dr. Gravetter specialized in statistics, experimental design, and cognitive psychology. He received his bachelor�s degree in mathematics from M.I.T. and his Ph.D. in psychology from Duke University. In addition to publishing several research articles, Dr. Gravetter co-authored Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences and Essentials of Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences.Larry B. Wallnau is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at The College at Brockport, State University of New York. While teaching at Brockport, he published numerous research articles in biopsychology and provided editorial consultation for journals in his field. He has taught statistics, animal behavior, biopsychology, psychopharmacology and introductory psychology. With Dr. Frederick J Gravetter, he co-authored all previous editions of STATISTICS FOR THE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES, now in its 10th edition. Dr. Wallnau received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Haven and his Ph.D. in psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. In his leisure time, he is an avid runner with his canine companion, Gracie.Lori-Ann B Forzano is Professor of Psychology at The College at Brockport, State University of New York, where she regularly teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in research methods, statistics, learning, animal behaviour, and the psychology of eating. Her research examines impulsivity and self-control in adults and children and has been published in the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, Learning and Motivation and The Psychological Record. Dr. Forzano also co-authored Essentials of Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences. She received her PhD in experimental psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

⭐ The book arrived on time, and was in great condition. Made it easy for me to put it in a three ring 500 page binder. I also really appreciated the personal note from the seller. That meant a lot. The seller is legit for that.I bought this book, because I read one of the authors’ other textbooks “Research Methods for the Behavioral Sciences”. The other textbook was outstanding in writing in simple, understanding language. So, I was hoping this textbook would be written in the same fashion. This book did not disappoint. It was well written. Not a lot of jargon, and provides easy to understand examples. I have been most impressed with these authors as they understand that research methods and statistics in psychology are very demanding, and very challenging courses. They do an excellent job simplifying concepts, but provides plenty enough depth to get the full gist.

⭐ So amazon has an awesome text book rental program which is how I got this book. I read one chapter before my professor said we did not need the book and I could return it. Statistics is not what I would call a fun subject matter to learn but the one chapter I read did seem like it was easy to follow

⭐ I don’t know if it’s just my tablet or what but for some reason, this and this ebook alone loads EXTREMELY slow. Sometimes when flipping pages, the next page just won’t load. This is a huge problem especially when you need to refer to tables in the back of the book then flip back to the chapter that you were on. Other than that, it’s a decent textbook that highlights important formulas and offers applicable example questions to solve.
