Description

The second edition of Fundamentals of Sectional Anatomy: An Imaging Approach is the ideal introductory text for new radiography students, seasoned students preparing for the CT and MRI exams, or anyone interested in learning about human anatomy. Chapters address the fundamentals of sectional anatomy, starting at the vertex of the skull and descending to the symphysis pubis, with additional in-depth coverage of the vertical column, major joints of the upper and lower extremities, and separate chapters on the facial bones and sinuses. This systematic approach to the organization of the book provides students with the most complete presentation and realistic exposure to sectional anatomy available. Numerous line drawings and two complete sets of fully labeled images complement each section of the text to strengthen the learning experience, while end-of-chapter summaries and review questions challenge readers to assess their understanding of important topics. Building upon its reputation for an uncluttered presentation and clearly labeled images, this new edition presents more than 200 new MR images, dozens of CT images, and new complex illustrationstransporting this already fascinating book into the modern age of radiography.

Denise Lazo has practiced as a radiographer and mammographer at several Rhode Island and Pennsylvania hospitals. Currently a full-time faculty member of the Allied Health Department at the Community College of Rhode Island, she is an Associate Professor in the Radiography Program, as well as its Clinical Coordinator. Ms. Lazo is also Vice President of the Community College of Rhode Islands Faculty Association, and a member of the ASRT.

Reviews from Amazon users, collected at the time the book is getting published on UniedVRG. It can be related to shiping or paper quality instead of the book content:

⭐ Poorly written and organized. Writing does not in any way help you to make the connections as to how the body parts in the diagrams correspond to the CT scans, which are all at the back of the chapter rather than incorporated into the chapter. Overpriced and the worst textbook I have literally ever had, EVER, especially for the price.

⭐ Without this book, I would have definitely failed my class. This book helped me ace my class.

⭐ Great book for MRI and CT anatomy. Has numerous images of both modalities for every body section. The text is written in a clear and concise manner. Plus there are review questions at the end of each chapter. Get this book, you will not be disappointed.

⭐ Lots of images and helps you comprehend the anatomy.

⭐ Great price! Same price new that my college bookstore charged for a used copy.

⭐ everything as described

⭐ in good condition

⭐ Everything was great, as promised

⭐ Everything good

⭐ Product and picture description is a bit different
