⭐ Originally I had hoped to use the Washington manual for ICU but hated the format. I wanted something more like the Washington Manual for hospital medicine, but focused on critical care. This is that book. Most chapters are well written, with great summaries of important details. Not as many algorithms and flow charts as the Washington version, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.It’s a bit too thick to carry around regularly – – I would have loved an electronic version for inkling. Still a great book for an aspiring intensivist like myself.
