⭐ The Neurotoxins and Fillers in Facial Esthetics is a book that features information about facial anatomy, the use of neurotoxins, cosmetic fillers, and includes information about the highlights and pitfalls of facial fillers. It also has a chapter on developing a business. I like how the first chapter includes pictures with detailed labeling of the anatomy of the face for reference. This book comprises information about many neurotoxins and fillers but is missing a large variety of current choices and may not be enough information for those who have studied prior. It seems to branch out largely into various topics in Facial Esthetics but not have as much information needed on the neurotoxins and fillers. In one of the side topics of the book, I noticed that the vein structure of the face was not included. There was a small section on the blood supply of the face. It stated that in minimally invasive surgeries the vessels of most concern are the superficial venous structures in the periorbital and forehead region. It made mention of a few other negative impacts that could occur with needle impingement. It seemed like it made light of the vein structure. However, other areas of the book did not make light of it. There are sections on technique and placement but I was hoping for more detail and different filler types in this area. This book seems to touch on a lot of different aspects of neurotoxins and fillers in facial esthetics but jumps around and could have more information on the main topic. It has useful information but is missing a few key elements in Neurotoxins and fillers.

⭐ I am not any kind of medical professional so what I have to say won’t be of any use to someone who deals with facial esthetics professionally. What I am is just a curious person who thinks about procedures to make myself look better, but has not known how to find trustworthy professionals and have no idea what I need. Probably everything, but I need to trust the advice I get and not spend a fortune I don’t have. This book doesn’t answer the above questions I have, but it certainly is interesting. I didn’t have any idea that there are so many possibilities for improvement. It makes me even more interested in finding a true expert. There are lots of pictures that I have looked at again and again to get an understanding of what was corrected or needed to be corrected.Whether or not this book will be valuable to a professional–I don’t know. However, I do think the reviewer who was very disappointed with this book has a point.

⭐ I showed this to my aesthetician, and she was very impressed! She asked to borrow it. I read it, and kind of fun to know a bit about what they know when injecting my face. I do Juvederm and Botox. I can’t afford a facelift, but I would probably hate one if I had it; when I look around and see women with one, it’s all I see. Injectables are a better way for me, and this book is easy to understand and has wonderful illustrations for a little insight into the profession.

⭐ This wonderful manual explicates everything you need to know… or will EVER need to know… about neurotoxins and fillers in facial aesthetic surgery. (I like to add the ‘a’ to esthetic because that’s MY aesthetic. You know what I mean?) Five big stars. But not any color. Not red ones or blue ones or green ones.No siree. I’m giving this great volume five GOLD stars for a GOLD MEDAL performance.

⭐ There is no information in the book of use. I pre ordered it having recently completing advanced aesthetic practitioner course. The diagrams are substandard with no arrows showing direction or angle of insertion. Just dots!
