User’s Reviews

Review “This is a great book for nonphysicians who can help maintain access to physicians by triaging a patient’s symptoms. There are many situations in which this can be implemented and with the ever-increasing demand for medical careand the limited availability of primary care appointments, this is a superb option.” Vincent F Carr, DO, MSA, FACC, FACP(Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences)

⭐ Thanks goes to the Authors for providing this incredibly useful resource for those working in OOH and similar. The manual fulfils and real and significant need! Would recommend it. It’s unpretentious and does exactly what it’s designed to do – act as a day-to-day checklist/safeguard and memory jog. Ideally it will need updating quite often although the NMIC website is perhaps the logical and cost effective way to stay right up to the edged with recent changes – again NMIC cuts out all the waffle and gets straight to it. Great!! 5/5.

⭐ I got this before doing the NMIC week long course. They work brilliantly together, but the book is a really good guide for minor illnesses in itself. I’m sure I will use this for years to come, really well set out, easy to use and helps keep your practice safe. By spotting red flags it points out the conditions that can’t be assessed as a minor illness and need to be passed to more senior staff or treated differently.

⭐ Excellent book and great to have at hand to look up stuff. Easy to access information.

⭐ I use this alot as a back up for triage/ and telephone triage. This was recommended on minor illness course in Bournemouth.

⭐ Not bad, well presented and easy to read. I expected a little more for the price if I am perfectly honest. Get far more information from other similarly priced books. Still, a useful tool to have in my collection,

⭐ Perfect for a new role in primary care.

⭐ Arrived in time, slightly damaged on top. No covered by protective film.

⭐ A must-have and valued tool to assist in my clinical role. Well laid out and easy to read makes this very easy to reference ensuring speedy diagnosis.

⭐ Very prompt service. Item described accurately. Happy customer!

⭐ Perfect for training advanced nurse practitioners.
