Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I practice dermatopathology and see a lot of immunofluorescence studies. I thought this book would comment on pitfalls and interpretation of unusual presentations, but it turns out to be just a collection of classic examples of common skin disorders. Such images and coments anyone can find in any dermatopathology text book. I did not need to buy this book for the information that it holds. It neither fills up any gap in the field, nor is a thorough review. And about the authors, as far as “authorities” in the field goes, maybe they are such at the Mayo Clinic, but I have not seen their names at major national or international meetings “filling the gaps” in dermatoimmunopathology. The good thing is that the pictures are decent and it might be a good source to study for the boards. Definitely NOT to base your practice on it. General dermatopathology text books offer more explanations to different patterns than this book does. It is overpriced for what it offers.

⭐I was looking for a book on cutaneous immunofluorescence and this was the only such book I could find, so I bought it. I suppose the pictures justify the cost but the book really does not seem worth it. The descriptions of the various immunofluorescence patterns associated with skin diseases are very sparse and basic, and there is tons of wasted white space in the book where more text or pictures should have been. This book does not add anything to any of the major dermatopathology textbooks. The only advantage is that the whole book is about immunofluorescence so it’s quicker to find entities and their differential here than in other textbooks. Nevertheless, I’d say it’s not worth the money.
