⭐ I respectfully disagree with prior reviews.Seems that over last 20 years Mayo Board Review book morphed into comprehensive textbook on Internal Medicines like Harrison’s.It is printed with a small dense script and full of detailed descriptions of zebras. For example, one quarter of a page is dedicated to Brucellosis with 100-200 cases annually in US. There are only 7-9 questions at the end of each chapter.I have an impression that the authors and editors of this book lost the site of it’s purpose being a review book for the exam preparation.Original early editions were very practical, easier to read and about half the volume of this book.I hope that next edition will be more exam oriented and less of a comprehensive reference book.

⭐ This book is Very easy to read. Board prep will be more interesting and this will be useful resource thereafter as well.

⭐ I just got it the other day. Two problems present themselves: The print is rather fine-almost like microfiche. I am using a magnifying glass to get through it. (Getting OLD-lol.) The OTHER issue is that they offer Free Online Access. This is GOOD-but the registration seems to be Very User Unfriendly. I can’t make heads or tails out of it. I will call them tomorrow.

⭐ Heavy reading that takes a lot of time. Good information but not very high yield. I like MKSAP board basics better.
