⭐The most difficult problem that Sports Science has, is to explain detailed scientific concepts to a coach who has little to no background in physiology, kinesiology, or any other -ology. Dr. Alexander is able to do this. Through diagrams, anecdotes, first hand experience and his unbelievable knowledge of the science behind it all, he is able to effectively work through this strenuous topic and give clarity as well as easy-to-use techniques to the soccer coach. This is a must have for anyone who is serious about teaching and developing athletes in soccer.

⭐This book is an extremely well written, comprehensive and detailed text written for the modern day coach, player or fan. It has excellent insight into how top level professional players are able to condition themselves or how coaches at the elite level are able to get the most out of their players. The knowledge in the strength and conditioning section allows all levels of player to use the framework for creating a program to help the player become a better athlete.I would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in soccer conditioning, or anyone who needs guidance in working with players at an elite level.

⭐This is an extremely well written textbook detailing the many nuances associated with preparing the modern soccer player. Accounting for coaches at different levels of the game, the author clearly and concisely presents the key areas of consideration in soccer physical preparation and how they may be addressed to benefit players in their own environments. The book provides a vast amount of pertinent information and would highly recommend!

⭐Libro molto interessante sulla preparazione atletica.Unica pecca manca un pò il collegamento con i lavori su campo in allenamento, con le esercitazioni e le partite condotte dal mister e dallo staff tecnico.
