Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐It got the job done for my class but I had to cut analysis look up examples of problems online for the statistics portion because the book just simply did not make sense. I was able to easily understand many of the statistical concepts after visiting Google.

⭐the authors write as if addressing a group of scholars on the topic of epidemiology and biostats. This is supposed to be a basic text on the subject matter. Content is too dense, written in a manner too complicated, and resorted to UWorld for down to earth explanations.

⭐Excellent, well written, inderstandable. Professional quality.

⭐Covers a broad array of topics that are on the ABPM General Preventive Medicine Board exam as well as the common core exam for other ABPM specialties. However, I would supplement this book with Mayo Preventive Medicine Board Review book. While most chapters are fairly comprehensive, a few such as those on Occupational Medicine and Environmental Medicine are very brief, and not reach the full depth that I would have expected (hence the 4 star over 5 star).

⭐The book arrived on time. The class sucked but that wasn’t the book’s fault.

⭐Excellent.

⭐Unable to read charts , had to re buy the book at Student Consult Elsevier

⭐Like it.

⭐I used it to prepare the exam of Publich Health, it’s not enough. It’s good if you need to recover some knowledge but it is not enough to study; in particular the part on occupational medicine it’s too much short

⭐Easy to read and short chapters are great (not overwhelming). It would be awesome if there are lot more examples.

⭐What I was looking for
