This is one of the “Bibles” of emergency care. Every emergency physician knows about this and consults it. So do knowledgeable nurses and paramedics involved in emergency care. It is not perfect. Rosen’s may be better in the long run, but this will get you to “GO” most of the time. There is no one text that suffices for all one needs to know in emergency care, but this book should be on every emergency caregiver’s bookshelf.
