From the outset I want to make it clear that if you are a visual learner then this title will certainly not be useful for you in your revision as there are no diagrams or images anywhere in the book.

For those who aren’t a visual learner and can cope with facts alone then this book would greatly suite you in your revision as that is what this title does. All the conditions covered start with the basic definition of them and go through all the core information that you would be required to know on them for a medical school exam. If however you are looking for a little more information than just the facts, aren’t wanting loads of images then I would point you to Crash Course Paediatrics, 4e as this would be far more catered to your needs.

As previously highlighted the disadvantage of this title is that there are NO diagrams or images anywhere in the text, other than that it is a highly useful overview of the core facts on most if not all the paediatric conditions you should need to know for medical school exams.

In conclusion, before purchasing this title ensure that you know what type of learner you are and if you are not visual and do well with lists, chose this title from your university library or for your own library.
