Great introductory book for beginning pediatric rotations in third year of medical school. I read a chapter corresponding to what I was doing each week, and it kept me prepared to discuss patients with my attendings.

I used Blueprints, UWorld, and Online MedEd during my M3 peds rotation, and did very well. This book is a STELLAR review–it’s comprehensive, and gives you the framework to approach both patients and shelf questions. My big, big complaint is that there are so many grammatical errors and errata in this thing–the actual reading experience was less than stellar. I’m not remembering any factual errors, so I’ll still give it 5 stars as a prep tool.
