While a select few examples could be updated or edited to be easier to understand this book was a great resource as I prepared for the NBME subject exam on Biochem and Genetics. Great questions at the end as well as a practice test that is somewhat representative of what I saw on the real exam. Overall I thought that the end of chapter questions were more similar in caliber to the real test than the practice test, but that is just my opinion on the matter. What I really liked about this book was the great color pictures it has and level of detail that it goes into. As far as topics go, it covered all that I needed to know to do well on the subject exam

I like the content of the book, wish figures were in color. I am not sure if this book is supposed to be in color. Mine is black and white book, page 33 Figure 2.15 says that figures should have colors. I am not sure if I received a fake copy that is a copy of original book? Let me know if any of you have colored figures in the book??
