These were required for my histology courses… they are as described in the description above; flash cards with pictures of tissues. I have also purchased surgical instruments flash cards, they came with a nice large ring so that the current cards I needed to study could be put on the ring making it much easier to study without losing them, dropping them etc..since these types of cards are slick. These particular cards just come in the box which is too big and cumbersome to carry around as well as difficult to remove just a few that you need at the time. I guess I’m going to have to punch holes in them myself and use my old ring!

Other than that, they are colorful when they are needed to be with the appropriate stains and with the tissue contents well labeled. They do help to teach me what I need to know and use different microscopes for viewing different types of tissues.
