I did a couple electives in Heme/Onc as a 4th year med student, and found this book perfect as a handbook and for reading around patients during the work day. The chapters are short, so the book easily fits in a pocket, but is surprisingly comprehensive. The residents rotating with me frequently borrowed it to look up chemo drugs, regimens, grading/staging, etc and they found it helpful as well, so I am definitely hanging on to this one to for onc rotations in residency. This is the only book of this series I’ve tried so far, but it was so good I plan to try others as well.

I am an internal medicine resident applying for heme/onc fellowship soon. This is the best in-pocket heme/onc book I have ever come across. Have shown it to a few heme/onc attendings and they also seemed to like it. Must have for those interested in heme/onc no matter what stage of training.
