⭐ Very basic, not all relevant

⭐ I do not rate this book. Seems to skip over many concepts and really just explains how to draw the graphs. I appreciate it is not a book to learn from and rather to revise from but I still feel it’s lacking in important areas.

⭐ This book is the reason i passed the primary FRCA! I started reading this a little before the MCQ/SBAs just for topics i found more confusing, as the explanations are absolutely brilliant and extremely concise (however it’s insufficient on it’s own for this part of the exam). Then for the viva it became a bible. This, Dr podcast and a pharmacology book (peck and hill) are all you need for the viva. Graphic anaesthesia also looks excellent, but i’ve not used it. Also very handy for the final.

⭐ Nice book, it was very helpful in my preparation. I think it also contain a good cover of the relevant topics for the primary FRCA exam,I will recommend it.

⭐ Must have for Anaesthetic revision! Wish I had bought it earlier. This is a revision book and does not provide extensive explanations which is ideal for revision purposes but not for someone looking for extensive explanations (There are plenty of other “core” textbooks available for that). The summaries and tables are very useful.

⭐ This book is a must have for Primary and Final SOEs, but unfortunately I leant mine to someone after passing the former and never saw it come back to me. Happy to buy it again as it was a life saver for the science SOE.

⭐ Updated version is well worth it.Loads of useful new explanations and diagrams that are reproducible in the viva. Has been well used!

⭐ This book is concise for frca exams containing relevant topics.
