Review “These flashcards are a useful and valued learning tool by many students.” -Brian R. MacPherson, PhD (University of Kentucky College of Medicine) Doody’s Score: 90-4 Stars!

⭐ Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I was really looking forward to receiving these flashcards. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to return them. I like the look of these flashcards. They are in a sturdy box, they are colorful, informative, and concise, but I cannot keep them because they are not divided according to Body Systems. If a person wants to study the bones, they have to go into each and every section and muddle through anywhere from 20 to 70 cards to pull out all the cards for the Skeletal System! Section 1-Head and Neck, Section 2-Back and Spinal Cord, Section 3-Thorax, Section 4-Abdomen, Section 5-Pelvis and Perineum, Section 6-Upper Limb, Section 7-Lower Limb…To further describe how these cards are set up, Section 1-Head and Neck-Is divided into Bones and Joints, then Muscles, Nerves, Vessels, and Viscera. This is 100% inconvenient and unusable for the medical professional. Anatomy and Physiology is taught by BODY SYSTEMS: Skeletal, Muscular, Circulatory, Digestive, Integumentary, Nervous, Endocrine, Immune and Lymphatic, Renal and Urinary, Reproductive, Respiratory… The cards themselves are informative, but when I review the Bones, I want them ALL to be in one section, in order to pull out a section and go to work from there; not fish through hundreds of cards, then fish through all the cards AGAIN in order to replace them in numbered order. These flashcards are unusable. I don’t recommend them at all. ⭐ Incredibly detailed in some areas, but woefully deficient in others. I’ve spent hours writing in bony landmarks, small arteries, and various nerves. These are anatomical paintings and therefore do not contain the level of detail I hoped for. If you have a Netter’s atlas and you like it, this should be fine for you. If you own a different atlas, this will be a step down for you. I regret not getting the flashcards that match my preferred atlases, Atlas of Anatomy and Rohen’s Photographic Anatomy. These will not be sufficient for PA/Medical school. Undergrad A&P only.

⭐ Wonderful drawings! Netter nails it in that regard, but most A&P classes and books are organized by system. These cards are organized by area of the body which makes it very hard to find what you’re looking for when following a standard A&P class by body system. For example, if you want the cards on the skeletal system, you do not have a section for that, instead you have to sort through every card to pull out the skeletal cards from each section (head, upper extremity, lower extremity, lower extremity, etc…)

⭐ I wasn’t sure so I bought these and the one of Gray’s. Both are from the same Publisher and almost Identical from the Material. I soon realized that the cards were made to sell, not to be really helpfull. The publisher obviously took care of making the cards not too good so that the (more expensive) atlas wouldn’t become redundant. Only a few, not all (not even all important!) of the structures seen on a card are pointed out. They left out major plates and features enteriely. The Netter Atlas contains rougly 10-20% more Structures then the Grays for Students Book. Anyways, the Grays Cards have MUCH more Structures pointed out then the Netter Cards. I would recommend to buy Grays Cards if you really want cards (even though you use the Netter Book)

⭐ This is a really good, convenient way to study anatomy when you’re on the go. I study these flash cards on the bus, while waiting in line at the pharmacy, everywhere. I hate anatomy an am not a visual person whatsoever so I need all the help I can get. The best part about these cards is that they have the nerve supply on the back for each muscle, and related clinical correlations, so it’s a great study tool.

⭐ Cards are beautiful, and organization by body region is very useful for my purposes. There are icons in the top left corner of each card so you can re-sort by system if preferred. I love that the holes are pre punched and the box that holds the cards is sturdy. So 5 stars for the cards. I was pretty excited to use the app to be able to study on the go, which is one of the reasons I chose these over others. However, the app is basically unusable for studying. It freezes, and only the front of the card and a short blurb is included. So no names to check yourself . I like the cards well enough to keep them, but they are not sturdy enough to just toss in a purse or back pack, so the app would have been great. Seems to me a flash card app shouldn’t be that hard to write/maintain… one star off for that.

⭐ These cards are incredibly well fleshed out, certain blocks of cards will be showing roughly the same anatomy from the same viewpoint but highlighting and discussing different parts, and these more bite-sized bits of information I find much more effective and more easily retained long term. The fact that these also come with a digital copy is fantastic and It can be very nice to have these at all times on your phone, this is much less cumbersome than trying to pick out the block of cards you need for the service you’re on that day and have a big heavy hunk of flashcards in your back pocket. Our instructors recommended these strongly and I can see why, don’t hesitate to pick up a set, especially if you work in Surgery, caregivers in all roles could benefit from more in-depth anatomical knowledge.

⭐ I purchased the flash cards along with the anatomy atlas ahead of my first year of medical school. I have been extremely pleased with the content included in the flash cards; however, the reason why I bought these cards new (vs buying them second hand off another student) was the access to the mobile app for on the go study. I downloaded the app, registered my cards, and when I tried to open the cards the app crashed. I tried restarting my phone, closing all other apps, reinstalling the app, and nothing worked. I reached out to inkling (the app company for the cards) and I have been disappointed with their handling of the situation. The content of the cards is great, but if you are buying them to also have access to a functional mobile app for on the go study I would look elsewhere.

⭐ Hey man, some people might say these aren’t perfect since it may have a header on one of the cards that says what the muscle or part, etc. is while the picture of the one you are trying to remember is on the same side. True that’s not perfect, but I’ve made my own flashcards all my life and some have even had the questions and answers on the same page on the same line. I’m just glad I don’t have to make my own concerning all of this stuff. I’ll gladly pay the money to have all of that work done for me plus it’s not that much money for all this gives me. I’ll just use my hand to cover up the top of the cards as I look at them for those. I’m very glad I have these. And it does come with a little metal ring where I can take the cards I’m studying with me (each card has a hole in the top corner to place them on the ring.

⭐ Bought these for my college age daughter. They have helped here immediately. They come with a neat little O ring – (its packed inside the box lid so look for it), Loved that. I, mean while am recovering from a nasty head-on where I almost lost my life. Diagnosing the injuries has been very difficult but I learned helpful info just this morning looking at the cards. ,I would buy again.
