⭐ Barry Polansky’s The Complete Dentist is the complete guide to keeping first things first. He has the gift of seeing what nobody else sees and communicating it with amazing clarity. I am constantly challenged to become a better dentist, and human being, when I read his books. I recommend The Complete Dentist to anyone who wants to have a long satisfying career in dentistry and avoid all the hype and “the latest thing” mentality.

⭐ The Complete Dentist is a must for all dentists. So much excellent material in this book. What I liked the most is Dr. Polansky’s concept of the human side of dentistry. So much of dental education is directed towards the technical side of dentistry as he describes. This both lacks fulfillment for the patient and the practitioner. My complaint…..so much good information that I will need to re- read this book a couple of times to gather as many pearls as possible.

Dentistry is lucky to have someone so passionate about writing and sharing knowledge. It is much like a great literature review or thesis on positive psychology in dentistry

He leads the reader through his own journey of discovery and development and provides insight and guidance about what it takes to find a lifetime of happiness in this special profession. ⭐ Barry’s insight into leadership, dentistry and happiness is incredible. I have read and loved all of his books, and this one is no exception!

⭐ Not bad, but somewhat lenghty. Too many references to his previous books. No shortcuts, or instant receipts, but an intersting approach to practice. Both for young and seasoned professionals
