I advice every one to buy this book.It is very helpfull very very much in the first year of your endocrinology and also if your doing Internal medicine.It helps very much in making a good approach for the most common problems in endocrinology.After reading it you need to start making your own way afterwards in approaching your common presenting cases.This book definitley makes a very good start because it show the good way you can use.It still has defect in approach to problems like hypogonadism and does not cover the interpretation of endocrinological tests.Some problems like high 24hrs cortisol level with normal serum cortisol and other tricks that you face on a daily basis as endocrinologist in a big centre.I think an approach to endocrinological lab abnormalities and endocrinological tests is not well covered.Still It is very excellent book for the first few months in your training and you can see this when you take it with you to the clinic and start to look at it with every case and you find a very good approach very handy.When you master what is inside this book you will start to look for more but still I think you will benifit alot if you start with it.
