⭐ This is NOT a undergraduate level book. The book will assume you know terms, concepts, mechanisms from Biochemistry as well as Molecular cell biology, and it will not explain if you don’t know a word or term. It is detailed, but at times jumbled with information in a discursive manner, saying one topic and then another. The drugs are explained by classes, and groups, and there is some good information to glean on drugs, however, it’s not an easy read, or well communicated. I have to go back and review my Anatomy and Physiology and Biochem to understand what the heck is going on. There are lots of high level terms and concepts. Most appropriate for a pharmacist, or someone that already has covered the foundational sciences and is in graduate school. The topic is written extremely scholarly. ⭐ This book needs a alpha list of all the abbreviations used, so that if you don’t start at the beginning where abbreviation are defined you can know what they are talking about. ⭐ Easy to digest information in almost a lecture-like tone, but so very boring to slog through. ⭐ I bought the book new and this is how the book came! The box was not damaged in any way but once I pulled the book out the corners were bent like it has been used, but like I said I bought the book new. First time something like this has happened. ⭐ Great resource ⭐ Recieved the book is new condition, it was still wrapped in plastic and there were no “dog ears”. This book is also very easy to read and has very clear and easy to understand diagrams. ⭐ Perfect ⭐ Intense ⭐ Book came as expected, brand new. ⭐ great book new!
