⭐I returned this book only because my employer provided it for me for my orientation to the labor and delivery dept. I think it’s full of great information. However, you can get a little bogged down with all the heavy reading in the book. You have to really look for information when you need to reference the book at work, for guidelines and best practices. It could have been written less wordy and more to the facts and best practices of today. But, for the information it provides its a good book.

⭐I bought this as part of my RNC inpatient OB study prep, specifically so I could use the of the questions at the end of each module as practice. While the book itself is thorough and well organized, the study questions were often strangely worded or included typos. I ended up getting so frustrated that I stopped using this text as a study guide altogether. AWHONN’s perinatal nursing was much more helpful for my needs, and also had more newborn information.

⭐Excellent to the point manual for the high risk pregnancy RN. Am recommending this book to all co workers and new staff.
