⭐Excellent Book

⭐I used the first edition as a resident and now that I am out in practice, I bought the newer edition. What an improvement – it now comes with online access to the text and videos on an app that can be used on my iPhone. I leave the book at the office and can pull up any chapter or video on my phone before cases. They also improved the videos and things are labeled more clearly with arrows and diagrams. I also occasionally have medical students rotate with me, and it is nice to have these high quality videos that I can show them before we do the surgery. You can probably find similar videos on youtube but I have found that the quality of the videos with the narration have been the most helpful. If you are an ophthalmology trainee, oculoplastic fellow or someone in private practice like me who does oculoplastics, this is the best resource you can get. I see that the first edition is much cheaper than the new edition, but I would buy this one because the app has been so convenient and the videos are much improved.
