This book is aimed at congenital heart surgeons. As a pediatric cardiologist involved with imaging, I find this book very useful, too. It helps me to understand which anatomical details matter to our surgeons prior and during surgery. The book might as well be called “atlas” because it is heavy on images. The schematic drawings are very easy to understand and useful in teaching our trainees.

Its a wonderful book. One have to understand the basic cardiac anatomy before reading this book. It mentions detailed description of every terminology of cardiac anatomy. Beautiful dissection pictures make the text very easy to grasp.
