If the purpose is to skim the nephrology medical knowledge at a resident level and first year fellow this is a great book. It serves its purpose well. This newer version (I pre-ordered and waited for about a year) has many great illustrations and the GN section is very well done. Enough succint knowledge to read for nephrology boards
