Description

This textbook provides a comprehensive overview of the state of the art knowledge of breast cancer management for the modern breast surgeon. It covers all aspects of multidisciplinary care including primary breast and axillary surgery, reconstruction and oncoplastic techniques, external beam radiotherapy and newer techniques such as tomotherapy, intraoperative radiotherapy and brachytherapy. In addition, systemic therapies including chemotherapy, the latest biological targeted therapies and endocrine therapies are covered. Readers can find out about other important aspects of breast cancer such as genetics, screening, imaging and long-term health among others.

Reviews

I was hoping to get more images that can be used as reference for diagnosis of scalp issues related to hair loss and although there were color photos, I expected more details on healthy vs not healthy and symptoms related to the various disorders. Very expensive and the preview and table of contents didn’t give enough to determine whether to take the dive. I ordered the kindle version…. If I had to do again I would skip this one and look for one that was more comparative and detailed photos to identify when a photo matched the issues I am evaluating. I gave 3 stars because it was informative but not enough detail to make diagnosis based on content delivered.
