Reviews

A great book overall. The introductory chapters set the scene with a comprehensive overview o the anatomy, physiology and biochemistry of the respiratory system. One of the key strengths of this book is the way information is set out within chapters. For example, investigations have a dedicated sections to themselves going through the relevant clinical detail and how to interpret them. It was nice to see a chapter dedicated to emergencies as this is something that comes up very frequently in medical school exams (and real life), explained in detail and the red flags to watch out for. A great book for both pre-clincial and clinical alike and at a very reasonable price.
