⭐As the Director of the Pediatric Optometry Service at UAB, I am often asked by eye doctors which books are must-haves. The Scheiman and Wick book on managing BV always tops the list. It is extremely comprehensive and discusses a subject that is truly the foundation of optometry. Ophthalmology colleagues will also find it very useful. Eye doctors who have a grasp of the concepts presented in this book will be able to manage their patients better and set themselves apart from the competition. The book is so nicely laid out and so easy to follow that one of my colleagues with 30 years of experience helping kids and adults with BV issues actually found joy in reading it for the first time. It begins with the basics of testing, naturally flows through analysis, and provides a full range of treatment options in a manner that becomes intuitive once the concepts are grasped. The online access and end-of-chapter cases really help solidify the concepts. The latest edition also includes very timely topics including how BV is affected by extended computer use, learning disabilities, refractive surgery, and acquired brain injury. Dr. Scheiman is motivated by helping others and has decades of experience in this topic including hard-to-get NIH funding, academic teaching, and successful private practice. Whether reading it to learn for the first time or using it as a quick reference, this book hits just the right balance of evidence-based concepts with real-world experience.
⭐The book content is ok ,but The resolution of the image in the book is Very Low resolution.if i have a chance i will buy paper coppy.
⭐Trovo solo che gli argomenti siano un po’ disordinati ma contiene dei bei casi studio ed esempi di Visual training

⭐Gift but she is very pleased
