Reviews
Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
βThis is the previous edition so it can be obtained cheaper. Not just for medical professionals. If you are a layperson looking for more information on eye problems, treatments, testing, or surgeries this is helpful book. Will also see all kinds of color pictures of gross eye diseases which I personally find fascinating.
βI am a fourth year medical student applying to ophthalmology. I used this book during my first clinical ophtho rotation and it was fantastic. All of the basic pathologies, treatments and exams are clearly explained and well organized. Before starting a day with retina or glaucoma, for example, I would read through the relevant pages in this book. I found that I was then prepared with the relevant vocabulary to not sound totally ignorant to the pathologies when getting pimped or asking questions. Really a great book for the most critical and common ophtho information. I now mostly refer to The Wills Eye Manual, but for the first month this book was much more useful.
