⭐In almost all eye programs they will praise Wills Eye Manual as the Holy Grail manual for learning Ocular Diseases. They’re wrong. I have one and it’s in a box. The second I saw this in a classmate’s hands, I needed it.The best part about this book is the fact that there are tons and tons of pictures in it. Most people are visual learners, so when you describe a condition, they may understand it, but if you see it in a picture, they GET IT. This book has tons of images to help solidify the conditions in your brain. It also gives you the differential diagnoses, potential genetic associations, treatments, surgeries, etc. Also included is Expert Consult. This is where your money gets stretched the most. I almost never carry my physical textbook with me since I have the book on an app in Inkling on my phone and iPad, and can access it anywhere online with a login. Best on this is the search feature which doesn’t work in a physical textbook obviously. This makes it like 3 books in one. #worthit. This is the best comprehensive atlas of the eye from front to back that you can get. There are other guides out there to help dive deeper into other structures or topics in more detail, but for a first year ophthalmology resident starting out or an optometrist or student, it’s the best you’ll find.

⭐This is a great book – I’m using it for NBEO part 2 studying and to have as a reference in clinic and while I work. I had the Will’s Eye Manual but I found this was a lot easier to read and look for certain diseases. The pictures are great! Definitely recommend for an optometry student, optometrist or an ophthalmologist!

⭐excellent summary of ophthalmology. Any student of ophthalmology who can recite the contents of this brief book on ophthalmology from memory is ready for the American board exam. Any practitioner who knows this slim book inside out should be able to avoid all gross errors in diagnosis.

⭐This book is packed with information and, more importantly, color photos. For the amount of content offered, I felt like the price was fair as far as textbooks go.

⭐Loved the illustrations and organization of this book. The online resource let’s me read when I have downtime on my phone or computer and is so useful

⭐Excellent resource material. Pictures are the best part, but it is a very complete reference book that contains more entries than other well-known titles.

⭐Really helpful reference book with good quality pictures.

⭐Great reference book for any optometrist or ophthalmologist! Also really great for any students studying for the national board exam.

⭐Good, but weak on drug therapies

⭐Excelente libro para consulta rápida y de tamaño “compacto”. Es muy bueno para complementar la preparación al presentar para un examen.

⭐well done

⭐The single best ophthalmic resource out there.
