Description

A randomized clinical trial (RCT) assessing the safety and prophylactic effects of aminophylline on the incidence of apnea in very premature infants. The study found that infants receiving aminophylline had significantly lower rates of apnea, bradycardia, and cyanosis compared to the control group, supporting the preventative effects of the drug and resulting in shorter hospitalization times.
