Description

A systematic review and meta-analysis comparing early (100 ml/kg/day enteral feed volume) versus delayed (140 ml/kg/day enteral feed volume) central venous catheter (CVC) removal in neonates on parenteral nutrition (PN). The study concluded that discontinuing PN and removing CVC at lower enteral feed volumes increases the risk of late-onset sepsis, although no differences in anthropometry were noted at discharge.
