Description

A systematic review and meta-analysis of 31 randomized controlled trials (6,276 participants) investigating the efficacy of Intravenous Immunoglobulins (IVIG) therapy for patients with sepsis. The study concludes that IVIG significantly reduces sepsis mortality and hospital stay, noting that IgM-enriched IVIG is superior and that benefits are primarily observed in adult patients and in high- and middle-income countries.
