This guideline provides evidence-based recommendations, developed using the GRADE methodology, for the management of adult patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). Recommendations cover mechanical ventilation strategies (low tidal volume, PEEP), prone positioning, conservative fluid management, use of neuromuscular blocking agents, and criteria for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
