This joint ACG/CAG clinical guideline updates recommendations for the management of dyspepsia. It suggests investigating patients 60 years or older with upper GI endoscopy. Patients under 60 should receive non-invasive H. pylori testing and treatment, followed by trials of PPI, TCA, or prokinetic therapies if primary treatment fails. It also covers the management of functional dyspepsia (FD).
