This narrative review describes the clinical presentation, risk factors, and management of Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection and disease in immunocompromised patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). CMV infection in this population is associated with increased mortality and management challenges, requiring critical care specialists to maintain a high level of clinical suspicion.
